CONCEPT WAR HORSE
The concept was to create a war horse whose mane would be armored for protection while maintaining flexibility for full motion and reticulation of the horse's head.
The sculpture was modeled using WED Walter E. Disney clay and then cast as a latex model from a two part fiberglas mold.

TELCO MONEYPORT
Designed at the NCR Design Center
This project was an award winning built environment used to prototype the early interactive banking experience.

NEON LIGHT SCULPTURE
Designed and built by Ann Dunham this product used a copper base, brass tubes, lacing, acrylic squares and neon tubing.
The copper was given a verdigris finish.

THE INFORMATION JUNGLE
THE INFORMATION JUNGLE AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
An 8' x 8' by 8' cube was designed, built and programmed by five graduate students in The Art Center College of Design Master of Science in Product Design program in 2000 to reflect the increasing impact density of information, population and technology has on our environment.
Each participant has a unique experience in the Environment. It was built and programmed with MSP Max/NATO and utilized sensors, lights, color and programmed sounds to incorporate the user as creator of the space. Our goal was to generate a random artificial intelligence within a user created system.
Our attempt was to demonstrate in a tactile and interactive way how each individual contributes, deliberately and unintentionally, to the cumulative impact these tensions place on our experience in both small scale individual ways and on the global experience we share.

The visitor enters the space and is prompted by a randomly generated light or sound to begin connecting the separate tubes. As more participants make more connections they begin to produce sounds, lights and colors. The space begins to become laced with intersections that restrict or enhance possibilities for movement.
As more connections are made the space becomes stressed and the users become confused and overwhelmed with the density they have created.
At an undetermined random point, where interactions have overwhelmed the environment the system crashes and goes to silent white.
